Day 03: After breakfast visit to Manakamana temple by Cable Car (Ropeway) for the view of Mt Manasalau and Mt Ganesh Himal. (Cable Car is Optional) Drive to Chitwan approx 2-3 hours and transfer to Hotel Seven Star, Welcome drinks, Evening walk and Tharu cultural show (B.L.D)
Day 04: Morning breakfast and Elephant Back Safari, Jungle walk, Canoeing trip, Tharu village visit, bird watching. Overnight at hotel. (B.L.D)

Day 06: Trek to Urrlerri (2000m) 4-5 hours. Overnight at Guest House (B.B)
Day 07: Trek to Ghorepani (2800m), 3-4 hrs walk through stunning jungle path. Overnight at Guest House. (B.B)
Day 08: Early morning hiking to Poonhill to see Sun rise and Mountain View, panoramic view of 10 different peaks. Trek back to guest house. After breakfast trek to Tadapani (2700m) 4-5 hrs. Overnight at Guest House (B.B)
Day 09: Trek down to Ghandruk, a beautiful old Gurung Village. Overnight at Guest House (B.B)
Day 10: Trek to Nayapul via Birethanti and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel (B.B)

Rest amount can be paid in our office after your arrival. If you choose to settle your holiday balance by credit card, a handling charge of 4% on the outstanding balance is made.
When and where should you arrive?
Please book your international flight to arrive and depart from Kathmandu international airport. The tour starts with an orientation meeting at about 5 pm on the first night of the tour and ends on after scheduled trip after the breakfast.
You will be received outside the Kathmandu international airport terminal by representatives holding a Himalayan Social Journey playcard and he will escort you to the Hotel.

How many people in each room?
There will be two people accommodated in each room for the duration of the tour. If you prefer private accommodation, you'll find the option for "single supplement".
Who will be leading the tours/treks?
Our local Nepali team is one of the most experienced and respected trekking outfits in Nepal.
If you have purchased a voucher for the tour please inform us which tour date suits you as soon as you are certain. We need time to purchase your domestic air ticket and make other arrangements so please confirm your spot on a tour at least 2 months prior to the commencement of the tour. Your booking on a particular tour date is subject to availability of spots. Also please send your redemption code and voucher number.
Which currencies are accepted in Nepal?
Some major currencies (USD, AUD, and EURO) are accepted for both visa and in general. There are plenty of ATM's in both Kathmandu and Pokhara and credit cards are accepted in limited shops and many restaurants. Please note that only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek.
Drinking Water on trek?
There are two good options for having proper drinking water during the trek. You can bring water purification tablets or fill your bottle for a nominal fee from the recognized and regulated "pure water" stations along the trek. As a last alternative you can also purchase bottled water at the lodges.
Is there Laundry facility on the trek?
There will be laundry facility in Kathmandu and Pokhara but not while on the trek.
What Clothes shall I bring?
Depending on when you plan to travel it's important to have the proper clothes and be prepared for unexpected weather. Fairly well worn hiking boots/shoes are a must! For tours between November and the first two weeks of March bring a jacket suitable for zero degrees Celsius. For tours at other times please bring a jacket suitable for 4 to 6 degrees Celsius, Otherwise the daytime weather will tend to be warm or pleasant.
You can get a visa in Kathmandu airport upon arrival for $25 USD (or equivalent in other major currencies) for a 15 day visa or $40 USD for a $30 day visa. Please bring 2 photos for the visa. Expect to have some waiting time in the queue for obtaining your visa. You can also get your visa prior to coming on the tour by contacting your closest Nepali embassy.
Is there an Orientation program?
Yes, the orientation will be at the Kathmandu hotel after your arrival and before starting trekking with welcome dinner. The orientation meeting is scheduled for evening on the first day of the tour. Generally the orientation meeting will be at 5 or 6 pm and this will be informed by our representatives after your arrival.
How large is each tour group?
For each tour date there will be several separate groups. Each group will have a maximum of 10 people with its own experienced English speaking guide. During the trek there will be a suitable number of porters to carry your luggage. .
Where will I stay during the tour?
In Kathmandu we will be staying at the Hotel Holy Himalaya or similar for first night and at Gokerna Forest Resort last 2 night.These places come highly recommended. In rafting we stay at Mankamana Valley Resort, in Pokhara, Hotel Mount Kailash Resort or similar category and in Chitwan Hotel Sevenstar or similar category. On the trek we'll be staying at simple lodges run by Nepali families.
What do we eat?
The lunches and dinners are not included in kathmandu, Pokhara, and in Trekking days which cost from $4 to $6 depending on meal items and restaurant category.

How much money for my personal expenses?
It’s difficult to give an exact amount of money that you should bring. Costs will vary according to how much you want to spend for shopping and where and what meals (lunch & dinner) you want to eat. Only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek.
A general rule of thumb for tipping is USD25 for guide per traveler and USD 25 for porter between two traveler if you are fully satisfied with their service. So we suggest you to allocate minimum US$ 50 for Tipping. This is just a guideline and you may tip whatever / how much you think is appropriate for the services rendered which made your trek a memorable one.
