Day 02: Mountain flight in the morning over the Himalaya (Optional). After breakfast, guided city tour to the world heritage sites of the capital (Shwoyambhunath, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath) the sacred places of Kathmandu by private vehicle. Overnight at Hotel Holy Himalaya. (B)
Day 03: After breakfast, guided tour to the world heritage sites of Patan and Bhaktapur and drive to Nagarkot by private vehicle for Sunset, Sunrise, and stunning Mountain View. Overnight at Nagarkot. Overnight at Hotel Himalayan Villa. (B)

3. Payment of the Balance
Rest amount can be paid before a month of your arrival. If you choose to settle your holiday balance by credit card a handling charge of 4% on the outstanding balance is made. There is no handling charge for payment by bank transfer.
When and where should you arrive?
Please book your International flight to arrive and depart from Kathmandu international airport. The tour starts when we receive you at airport & tour ends when we drop you at the airport.
You will be meeting our driver outside the Kathmandu International airport terminal by holding the Himalayan Social Journey placard and he will escort you to the Hotel.

Our tour will be in different beautiful places in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Nagarkot, Chitwan, and Lumbini. Expect to tour about 4-5 hours daily by drive sightseeing tour in historical and cultural places. You do not need to prepare for the tour by suitable training such as climbing hills or stairs, jogging, and spending some time in the gym to improve your stamina for a few months prior to the tour.
If you have normal health issues please do not worry for this tour. This tour offers sightseeing tour in Kathmandu of different historical and cultural monuments, Sunset, Sunrise view from Nagarkot and breathtaking view of many of the World's greatest peaks from Pokhara and wildlife experience and different jungle activities in Chitwan.

Which currencies are accepted in Nepal? Some major currencies (USD, AUD, EURO) are accepted for both visa and in general. There are plenty of ATM's in both Kathmandu and Pokhara and credit cards are accepted in limited shops and many restaurants. Please note that only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek.
Is there Laundry facility on the trek?

You can get a visa in Kathmandu airport upon arrival for $25 USD (or equivalent in other major currencies) for a 15-day visa or $40 USD for a 30-day visa. Please bring 2 photos for the visa. Expect to have some waiting time in the queue for obtaining your visa. You can also get your visa prior to coming on the tour by contacting your closest Nepali embassy.
Is there an Orientation program?
Yes, the orientation will be at the Kathmandu hotel after your arrival and before starting trekking. The orientation meeting is scheduled for the evening on the first of the tour. Generally, the orientation meeting will be at 5 or 6 pm and this will be posted upon your arrival at Hotel Holy Himalaya.
How large is each tour group?
For each tour date, there will be several separate groups. Each group will have a maximum of 14 people with its own experienced English speaking guide. During the tour, there will be a guide and driver. Certain activities such as traveling, farewell dinner, and yoga might be done in larger groups.
Where will I stay during the tour?
In Kathmandu, you will be staying at the Hotel Holy Himalaya. These places come highly recommended but please don't expect a European standard of hotel. These hotels are good, clean tourist hotels and are a good quality by Nepali standards.In Pokhara, you will stay at Mount Kailash Resort. In Chitwan, you will be staying at Seven-star Hotel, in Lumbini Hotel Sara City, in Nagarkot Hotel Himalayan Villa.
What do we eat?
The lunches and dinners in Kathmandu and in City, while you do sightseeing, are not covered by the tour and will cost from USD $4 to $7 depending on meal items and restaurant category.

What is the weather like in Nepal?
The width of Nepal is only about 200 km on an average, but within this short distance, the altitude of the land rises from 60 m up to 8,848 m. Hence the weather depends upon the altitude of the place in Nepal. However, in general, Nepal has four climatic seasons: Spring, summer, autumn, and Winter.
Spring starts from March to May. The temperature of this season fluctuates between 20C to 30C (68F to 86F). Summer starts from June last to August. These are also the monsoon months with occasional evening-thunderstorms and hot temperature. Autumn starts from late September and ends by November. During this period, the climate is generally dry and mild with temperature fluctuating between 20C to 30C (68F to 86F). Winter starts from December till February. The mornings and evenings are very cold while the afternoon is pretty sunny. The temperature during these months rises from 10C to 20C (59F to 68F). At higher altitudes, it is cold during the winter months.
How much money for my personal expenses?
It’s difficult to give an exact amount of money that you should bring. Costs will vary according to how much you want to spend for shopping and where and what meals (lunch & dinner) you want to eat. Only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek
